CODE OF CONDUCT…

For safety reasons, Charlie’s whiskers required you to disclose when booking if your dog exhibits any difficult or aggressive behaviour.

No liability will be accepted by Charlie’s Whiskers in injury caused by difficult or aggressive behaviour by your pet.

No liability will be accepted by Charlie’s Whiskers when any health problem is uncovered or aggravated by any part of the grooming process.

An additional cost will be incurred for any dogs that require de matting or removing a matted coat. This is time consuming and also dulls the equipment. Additional products used in de matting will be charged for.

Flea baths incur an additional cost as not only do dogs have to sit in flea shampoo for 10-15 mins but the salon area needs to be fumigated to prevent fleas from settling/spreading.

We do not pluck ears for dogs but cut hairs shorter instead.

We do not express anal glands.

All clients must fill out, sign and date a record card and agree to the disclaimer.

Please make sure all dogs are well walked and given an opportunity to toilet before coming to be groomed.

Whilst we understand that sometimes appointments have to be cancelled in an emergency, we do ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice where possible, prior to appointment cancellation, as we have a waiting list of clients.

We reserve the right to charge a fee from £15 for appointments missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice payable prior to any future booking. Arriving 20 minutes or more late for appointments will in most cases require re-scheduling and a missed appointment fee starting at £15 will apply (charges may vary based on the time allocated for your dog).
